IR SENSOR

The IR Sensor Module is an electronic sensor used to detect the presence of objects by transmitting and receiving infrared (IR) light. It consists of an IR LED emitter and a photodiode or phototransistor receiver that detects the reflected infrared light from nearby objects. The sensor provides digital or analog output signals, making it easy to interface with microcontrollers such as Arduino, ESP32, STM32, Raspberry Pi, and PIC. It offers fast response, low power consumption, and adjustable detection sensitivity through an onboard potentiometer. Due to its simple operation and reliable performance, the IR Sensor Module is widely used in obstacle detection, line-following robots, object counting systems, automatic door control, industrial automation, and IoT-based sensing applications.
