I2C LCD INTERFACE MODULE

The I²C LCD Interface Module is an interface module designed to simplify the connection of HD44780-compatible character LCD displays by converting the parallel interface into an I²C serial interface. It is commonly based on the PCF8574 I/O expander, reducing the required microcontroller connections to only four pins (VCC, GND, SDA, and SCL). The module supports displays such as 16×2, 20×4, and 16×4 LCDs, and can be easily interfaced with Arduino, ESP32, STM32, Raspberry Pi, and PIC microcontrollers. It offers low power consumption, adjustable display contrast through an onboard potentiometer, and simple integration, making it ideal for projects with limited GPIO pins.
